Whenever I purchase an old trusted brand and find fewer ingredients, compromised taste, and a different texture than I enjoyed in the past, I check to see if the brand changed hands. This has happened with Banquet, Birds Eye, Marie Callender, Snack Pac, etc.

That's when I found the connection to 'once good food' becoming 'terrible food' was the Conagra takeover. They have ruined the pot pie market and many other markets with what appears to be a brand milking ploy for quick profits. When profits diminish, they just write off their losses, sell out, and move on to another brand exploitation.

I have no respect for corporations that overlook customer satisfaction for quick greedy profits. Greed is what's destroying our country, and Conagra is a huge part of that.

Purchased a pack of Snack Pack pudding cups, opened the package to load groceries into the fridge, and discovered the inside was moldy. Could not tell from the outside.

Contacted Conagra, asked if I should return to the store I purchased it from, or if Conagra would replace (as every company has their own preferred policy on this). Was told that Conagra would take care of it. What I received were three $1.00 off coupons, not combinable. So I have to buy THREE MORE *** moldy puddings to get a replacement for the one I already paid for! NONSENSE. I called customer service, the guy was zero help. I demanded a supervisor. He was EVEN LESS help. He gave me some b.s. excuse that companies need to make their profit margins.

I. DONT. CARE. ABOUT. YOUR. PROFIT. MARGINS.

I JUST WANT TO NOT BE LIED TO, AND RECEIVE THE PRODUCT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR!!!

I bought a box of Marie Callendar's Frozen Lasagna for Two. After cooking it and went to serve up a piece to eat, I noticed an off smell about it, but ate a bite anyway and it didn't taste quite right.

I took a second bite from a different area of the serving and it too tasted like it had rancid meat in it. I called ConAgra Foods the next day about the problem. The girl apologized and said she would send out a coupon to replace the item and she asked me all the info off the packaging and also asked for me to send photos which I did. I get their coupon but it is NOT for replacing it as I was told would be sent to me.

They only gave me a few dollars off coupon but the item costs $7.97 from Publix where I bought it from. How is this not replacing it? This was a defective product and they should have replaced it completely as it was inedible. I emailed them about the shortage of the coupon but got no reply.

I called twice today and each time I gave the out-of-the-country outsourced customer service reps for Conagra and gave them my case #, they'd look it up then immediately hang up on me. I called a third time asking for a manager they same outsourced reps said they could not give me to a manager that they had to help me first. I told him that I already called twice and as soon as I gave my case#, they'd hang up. He said he wouldn't so I gave him the case #.

He said, we didn't promise a replacement. I said the original case rep most certainly did. He said we don't do replacement coupons. I said I should be completely compensated for the full amount since it was a spoiled product.

I asked for a manager or someone to speak to in the U.S. but he refused. I've tried calling corporate and several other phone numbers for Conagra and they don't answer the phones or they route you to the out of the country customer service reps who just give lip service and not real customer service. I'm angry and will never buy Marie Callendar's or any other ConAgra product again.

I would also warn others about buying any of their products because if this is the quality of product AND customer service, then that's a big red flag about this company! Who knows what they are really putting in their products if they are hiding from the public and avoiding contact with them.

I hope it's worth the extra $2 they saved by short-changing me on a promise, to lose a customer permanently! They're losing a *** of a lot more than that and getting bad word of mouth too!!
